Whose Life Are You Running For?  Participate in the 1st Annual Susan G. Komen Lawton Race for the Cure® and show everyone whose life you are running for. Are you running for your mother, your sister, a co-worker, a friend? Are you running for your own life? Or are you running for the future? No matter whose life you are running for, now is the time to get involved and run for their life!

All funds from the Komen Race for the Cure go to research, education, screening and treatment programs.

We want 2,000 participants at the 2012 Race, so start recruiting your team now!

Race Day Details:

7:00 – 8:00 a.m.          Registration

7:45 a.m.                     Opening Ceremony

8:15 a.m.                     5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Family Fun Run starts                   

9:30 a.m.                     Kids’ Dash

10:00 a.m.                   Survivor Ceremony

10:30 a.m.                   Closing Ceremony

Adults                        

$25 for 5k or 1 mile

Out of town on Race Day? Work nights? Or just want to Sleep In? Support Komen Central and Western Oklahoma from home! Register for Sleep In for the Cure and your T-shirt will be mailed to you before the Race.

Survivors' Celebration

On the field of the Ballpark at 10:00 a.m. don’t miss this very special celebration featuring our inspirational annual survivor parade, Honorary Survivor ceremony and entertainment.  

I AM THE CURE®

Emotional. Memorable. Motivational. I AM THE CURE is Komen's new rallying cry encouraging women and men to take an active role in their breast health. The program speaks to the importance of early detection -- the best defense against breast cancer -- and provides simple, action-oriented messages that Race participants can take home and put into practice. Listen for the cheers as you walk or run and JOIN IN!
